Job Description

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available to provide therapeutic services for K-5th grade students in a K-12 educational setting located in Washington Navy Yard, DC. This contract position offers a caseload focused on early childhood through elementary school-aged children, providing an excellent opportunity to support communication development in a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
Deliver direct speech therapy services to students in grades K-5.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of student goals, progress notes, and reports.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to student educational planning.

Qualifications:

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience or specialization in pediatric speech-language pathology.
Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
Qualifications to provide services in a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.

Schedule and Location:

Full-time commitment of 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
Located in Washington Navy Yard, DC.
