AdventHealth Daytona Beach includes a 293-bed main hospital in Daytona Beach, as well as outpatient facilities located at the Pavilion at Port Orange and the New Smyrna Health Park.
More than 400 physicians hold privileges to practice at our facilities, and we employ more than 1,700 care team members. Our specialties include cardiology, cancer, emergency care, surgical services, obstetrics, Level II NICU, neurosurgery, stroke care, rehabilitation, weight-loss surgery, imaging, laboratory, home health, wound care, diabetes, hospice, physician practices, and women's services. We also offer the area's only inpatient rehabilitation facility with Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation for stroke care.

The Role you ’ll contribute : The Wellness Center Manager is responsible for the overall performance and operations of the Wellness Center. Manages the business aspects of the Wellness Center and assists director with implementing vision and strategic direction of the business. Creates strategies and a team culture to align with the CREATION Life philosophy and consistently deliver world-class customer service.
The Value you’ll bring To The Team: - Greets members and staff with exemplary service, a smile, and empathy. Frequently circulates through the club to maintain a friendly, open, and helpful relationship with all staff and members, as well as, to identify issues, concerns, and any problems. Provides leadership to staff that encourages and promotes an environment of creativity, friendliness, customer service and positive staff to member interactions
- Assists with budget development for department and provides recommendations to director
- Identifies and utilizes current member interests and market trends in the industry and offers programs that respond to member and/or staff recommendations. Maintains professional and technical knowledge remaining current with industry trends, attending national conventions and trade shows
- Oversees and assists in cleaning and maintaining a safe environment in the wellness center at all times. Implements a system for weekly inspection of all areas and immediately reports needs to assure minimal down time
- Oversees staff training and new hire process by creating/initiating formal training programs. Evaluates staff progress, and makes suggestions for staff improvements on a quarterly basis
The expertise and e xperiences you’ll need to succeed : Minimum Qualifications : - Bachelor's Required
- 4 years of work experience Required
- 3 years of leadership experience Required
Preferred Qualifications: - 2 in a health club environment Preferred
- Nationally recognized certification in Health and Fitness Preferred
