Job Title: Vice President of Product Design

We are seeking a Vice President of Product Design to lead the evolution of our product design, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You will champion design excellence across the organization, ensuring our products are intuitive, elegant, and user-friendly. You will lead a talented UX/UI team, collaborate with Product Management and Engineering, and oversee our enterprise design system to promote consistency and efficiency.

This role requires a hands-on design executive with a systems thinking approach, experience with AI integration, and a focus on human-centered, trustworthy AI products.

Responsibilities:

1. Shape and Execute Design Excellence: Define and evolve a unified product design vision; lead end-to-end user experience design; own and scale the enterprise design system.
2. Champion AI-First, Human-Centered Experiences: Build AI-integrated design frameworks; collaborate on AI prototypes; advocate for responsible AI design.
3. Drive Rapid Experimentation and Iteration: Use AI tools for prototyping; establish practices for usability testing and iteration.
4. Lead and Develop a Design Team: Recruit, mentor, and foster a collaborative culture; implement scalable design operations.
5. Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge among product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams; represent design in executive discussions.
6. Validate and Deliver Value: Ensure usability standards; translate user insights into actionable improvements.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in product design, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience designing for non-technical users in complex environments.
• Proven success with AI-first products and data-driven insights integration.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools (e.g., Replit, Bolt).
• Strong system-level design thinking skills and experience scaling enterprise design systems.
• Background in user research and iterative design.
• Exceptional collaboration and influence skills.
• Experience building and leading high-performing design teams.
• Passion for accessible, simple, human-centered experiences.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead change in a fast-paced environment.

The annual salary range is $250,000 - $300,000, plus a 20% bonus, dependent on experience and qualifications.
