Reports To

Principal Software Engineer

What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborate with experienced team members to develop software for internal development and cloud systems.
  • Develop scripts, CLI tools, and templates for managing configurations.
  • Use AI to analyze, automate, or add features to existing services and cloud systems.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Learn and apply ChargePoint’s values of courage, collaboration, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience with Python, preferably with a web framework such as Django or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Bonus

  • Experience with using AI APIs from OpenAI, Gemini, or other models or ML experience.
  • Experience working with front-end Javascript frameworks such as React or Vue.
  • Experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other clouds.

Location

Campbell, CA

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US hourly range for roles at this operating level is $20 to $30. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
