About the Role Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to focus on communications products, primarily digital design of PCB from inception through layout and assembly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high integrity, adaptability, initiative, calmness under pressure, and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Design digital circuit cards from inception through layout and assembly. Coordinate with other disciplines to meet design requirements. Collaborate with ECAD designers for database and drawing generation. Perform design analyses (Timing, Power, Signal Integrity). Conduct verification and troubleshooting. Produce and present design documentation. Qualifications Experience taking design concepts from requirements to CCA development. Proficiency in PCB design processes and tools. Expertise in Design Verification/Analysis, troubleshooting, and testing. Minimum 5 years in digital/mixed signal high-speed CCA development. Degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Siemens Xpedition Design Tools. Knowledge of IPC standards, IEEE, MIL standards. Proficiency in Microsoft tools. Experience with analog and mixed-signal circuits.
