The Practice Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a veterinary practice, ensuring efficient and high-quality care for patients, delivering outstanding service to clients, and maintaining smooth business operations. This role involves managing the administrative, financial, and human resources functions of the practice while working closely with veterinarians and staff to maintain a positive, productive work environment. A strong focus on growth, operational excellence, and exceeding financial and operational goals are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities include staff management (supervising and leading all practice staff, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, scheduling), financial management (budgeting, billing, expense management, financial goal setting), client relations (building client connections, monitoring reviews, maintaining high standards of care and communication), operations management (inventory, scheduling, office supplies, equipment maintenance, policy implementation), marketing and business development (executing marketing strategies, social media, community outreach), compliance and regulatory adherence (ensuring compliance with veterinary regulations, OSHA, record-keeping), and technology management (training staff on practice technology, IT coordination). Qualifications require 3-5 years managerial experience preferably in veterinary or healthcare, with preferred credentials such as CVPM, CVBL, or a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration. The position is full-time with possible evening/weekend hours and requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional physical tasks.
