Job Title: Patent Attorney (3+ Years Experience | USPTO & Colorado Licensed)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patent Attorney to join a client's dynamic intellectual property team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, be licensed to practice before the USPTO , and admitted to the Colorado Bar . A strong technical background with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required.
Key Responsibilities:Draft and prosecute patent applications in the U.S. and internationally.
Provide strategic counseling on patent portfolio development.
Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and infringement analyses.
Advise clients on IP strategy, due diligence, and patent landscapes.
Work closely with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel to identify patentable inventions.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the Colorado Bar and registered to practice before the USPTO .
3+ years of experience in patent law, with a focus on electrical, computer, or software technologies .
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering .
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Experience with AI/ML, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or telecommunications technologies.
Involvement in IP litigation support or licensing negotiations is a plus.
Experience working with international patent portfolios and foreign counsel.
