The Medical Equipment Service Tech and Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for processing, cleaning, inspecting, and testing equipment including inventory maintenance. Additionally, driving to and from healthcare locations to complete delivery and equipment management tasks for a district office, including customer delivery and pick-up of medical equipment. Build relationships with patients, families and care givers.

Part Time schedule includes Weekends and On-call

What You Will Do in This Role?

• Report major repairs, service needs, incidents or accidents to proper authorities
• Performs warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required
• Takes "on call" time on a predetermined, rotating basis during week and weekends
• Safely load, secure, and deliver medical equipment to customers. Retrieves equipment from customer locations, safely transporting the equipment back to the office.
• Educate and engage customers at the time of delivery, keeping customers informed on the features and functionality of the equipment
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner to ensure accurate documentation for billing, inventory, and regulatory compliance.
• Obtain appropriate signatures to verify receipt of items delivered
• Operate assigned vehicle safely and efficiently

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license in state of residence

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
• Delivery experience, preferred
• Driving experience, required
• Experience working in healthcare, home health or the medical field, preferred
