JUNIOR SERVICE ENGINEERING SPECIALIST

ROLE DETAILS

A leading innovator in Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) is looking for a hands-on and motivated Service Engineering Junior Specialist to join its growing North American operations. This is a key support role that involves assisting with the assembly, installation, and maintenance of advanced 3D printing systems both in-house and on-site at client locations.

You’ll be responsible for:

Supporting the assembly and preparation of systems at the Austin facility
Assisting with on-site installation and integration under senior supervision
Providing basic troubleshooting and technical support during and after deployments
Collaborating with clients to ensure proper setup and operation of equipment
Helping manage daily facility tasks such as warehouse organization, inventory checks, and purchasing support
Contributing to technical documentation and assembly guides
Identifying opportunities for process improvements alongside the engineering team
Supporting project logistics, including equipment readiness and shipping coordination

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

0–2 years’ experience in machinery assembly, maintenance, or technical support within manufacturing environments
Hands-on skills in mechanical/electrical assembly
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
Basic knowledge of CAD software (Rhinoceros a plus)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education – Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Robotic Engineering (focus on AM is a plus)
Full Driving license
Willingness to travel to client sites across the US
