Porter Road Pet Care is a locally loved and trusted pet grooming, boarding and day care facility dedicated to keeping pets clean, healthy, and happy. We pride ourselves on providing a calm, safe, and positive experience for every pet that comes through our doors. We’re growing and looking to add a passionate, skilled Dog Groomer to our team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and haircuts per breed standards or client requests.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of pets during grooming.
• Communicate professionally and kindly with pet owners about grooming needs and results.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Identify signs of illness, injury, or behavioral concerns and report to management or pet owner.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of professional grooming experience preferred (training may be available for the right candidate).
• Ability to groom all dog breeds and sizes.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle dogs of all sizes.
