Job Description

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Engineering industry based in Ontario, California. We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team. The Contracts Manager is a critical role that will manage and oversee contract creation, execution, and analysis to maximize operational and financial performance. MUST HAVE 5+ YEARS OF CALIFORNIA ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION contracts experience. This position is open to CALIFORNIA based residents. Responsibilities: - Independently review, coordinate, and process Owner/Architect Agreements. - Engage and coordinate with management, clients, consultants, and independent contractors regarding contract terms. - Lead and support contracting initiatives across the firm in partnership with senior management. - Review, redline, and negotiate agreements with clients and consultants. - Assist in the implementation of a software platform to streamline the tracking of various contracts. - Provide detailed analysis to process all owner and consultant agreements. - Respond promptly to Principals in Charge, Project Manager's/Senior Project Manager's or client and consultant needs for contracts reviews at various stages. - Support the Marketing team with RFP related inquiries related to contract provision requests, litigation history or other legal questions. - Read and review legal reports and documents; draft letters and documents; collect and analyze information. - Maintain confidentiality and establish productive working relationships with people at all levels. Requirements - Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role within California's Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry. - Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat software. - Solid understanding of business systems and their implementation. - Experience in managing contract amendments and auditing contract compliance. - Demonstrated ability in overseeing billing functions and claim administration. - Knowledge and experience in Clinical Trial Operations is a prerequisite. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure environment. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. - A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
