Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and a passion for delivering excellent service. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products reach their destinations on time. Duties Operate and drive various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, tractor-trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and flatbeds. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Experience with various truck types including refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and delivery drivers. Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to commercial driving. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Bilingual a plus.
