JOB SUMMARY:

The core mission of the Banner Finisher is to provide assistance for the Banner department's customer orders by reviewing job tickets, managing workflow to ensure all orders are completed on time, and consistently meeting customers' expectations while maximizing machine efficiency, thereby contributing to the overall success of Outreach, Inc. mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Finishing, cutting, and taping banners and signs
  • Check inventory levels
  • Assemble stands and displays
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow instructions from Banner Technicians and Production Supervisor
  • Using the Grommet Press and Seaming Press
  • Preparing banners for timely delivery to Shipping
  • Entering banner data accurately on log sheets
  • Meeting schedules
  • Accuracy and integrity of product

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to interpret job sleeves and sizes of product
  • Ability to work as an individual
  • Good eye for basic color output
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Maintain good communication with manager
Requirements:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum one year of work experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs multiple times in a single shift.
  • Manual dexterity is necessary to perform job requirements.
  • Steady hand for cutting banners and tape.
  • Good eye/vision for basic color output

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • The use of mechanical equipment and tools comprises more than 50% of each working day.
  • Exposure to machinery noise on an open manufacturing floor for more than 50% of each working day.
  • Reasonably high levels of stress more than 50% of each working week.
  • Moderate level of interaction with others. (25% - 35% of the working day)
  • Indoor, controlled temperature environment. (Air-conditioned)
